First ever fresh potato brand launched
Briefed by MBM Produce Ltd, a Premier Foods business, to create an umbrella brand for a range of high quality potatoes, Bryt originated the ‘Potato Lovers’ name to convey the passion that the producers and their customers share for perfect potatoes.

The brand is light-hearted and aims to convey quality and modernity. The heart device is featured across various packaging formats from 2kg plastic pouches to 15kg boxes and 20kg sacks – as well as floor-standing dump bins. Unusually, images of cooked product are used to focus on the end result: perfect meals.

Bryt also created direct mail pieces and trade press advertising and produced the ‘Potato Lovers’ web site, which includes a recipe database.

The ‘Potato Lovers’ range goes on retail and food service sale following a brand launch event in a Cornish field on midsummer’s day, Tuesday 21st June. There, the first of the new season’s crop of Juliette potatoes were dug in the presence of food writers and leading chefs - and later served at the first annual Juliette dinner. Other potato varieties will be appearing under the ‘Potato Lovers’ brand as the season progresses.
