Fech
Fech was devised as an entirely new concept in food retailing: an outlet selling high quality, frozen ready meals. Those with no time or inclination to prepare food from scratch could choose the components of an entire three-course meal from the extensive menu, and serve a gourmet meal for any occasion with minimum effort.

The brief
Our brief incorporated name generation, brand creation, interior and exterior store design, point of sale creation, marketing collateral and launch promotion activity.

Our solution
Our work commenced with consultancy activity during which we undertook an extensive research programme of current sector players and advised on everything from menus and recipe formulations to price points – also identifying other crucial suppliers to assist with the launch of the business.

Pre- and post-launch marketing was planned and executed, including local press and radio coverage and on-street promotional activity, plus advertising (on stair risers) at Winchester Rail Station to attract weary, homeward-bound commuters.

The results
A stunning and quirky identity was created, reflecting the quality of the ready-meals and designed to 'speak' directly to the target audience. The highly cost-effective launch campaign resulted in sales well ahead of target from day one.
