Regency House
Regency House is a charming 1850s Victorian town house offering a high standard of accommodation in the very heart of Cambridge.

The brief
The brief for the website was simple, to increase the number of bookings and ultimately revenues to Regency House. We also needed to encourage more tourists to stay at Regency House - as opposed to students or university lecturers.

Our solution
We created an html site with a flash introduction to give the homepage high visual impact. The movie on the homepage displayed high quality photography of some of Cambridge’s best-known tourist attractions.

We designed a virtual ‘tourist guide’ with a ‘what to do’ in Cambridge section. This informative guide was available to read on screen and as a downloadable PDF, allowing visitors to print off the guide and walk round with it as a reference to tourist attractions in Cambridge.

The results
The rich content site improved search engine rankings and the client noticed an increase in levels of web traffic.

To date the website has ranked highest on google.com for anyone looking for a guesthouse in Cambridge.

Ultimately higher volumes of traffic to the site increased rates of sale and bookings; to the extent that Regency House now enjoys 90% occupancy all year.
